Job Description
Maintenance Mechanics perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilitates in optimum operating condition.
These activities include but are not limited to:

- Following all safety rules and practices
- Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level
- Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
- Accurately using measurement and test equipment
- Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
- Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
- Maintaining teamwork with other associates
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervision Individual must possess the following qualifications:
- Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Post High School training preferred
- Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices
- Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience
- Ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team
- Corrugated Industry Maintenance Experience preferred
