Job Description
This job requires the ability to bale all waste associated with composite, trim, lab waste, leader, fabric, and plastic. The job also requires good team and safety skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Bale all waste associated with composite, trim, lab waste, leader, fabric, and plastic.
•
Bales will be made composed only of the items that belong to that bale.
o
Example: Only foam is to be in a foam bale.
•
Notify the IE Clerk when the appropriate handler is needed to load a waste trailer.
•
Work in accordance with SPI 10.3.1 (Loading and Unloading of Commercial Goods).
•
Work in accordance with SPI 7.1.1 (Recycling).
•
Maintain appropriate information required on the Trailer Loading Log SPI AL001, Waste Recording Sheet SPI AL002.
o
Record ticket number, record lbs. baled under proper heading (leader, remnants, lab headers, etc.)
o
Sheet AL001 and AL002 are to be turned into the IE Clerk every Monday morning.
•
Ensure that bale integrity is maintained and that all bales are weighed.
•
Maintain all housekeeping duties in area.
•
For leader write ticket number from AL001 onto red leader tag. Take red tickets to IE Clerk with Log Sheets.
•
Comply with all management requests.
Other requirements:
•
Must comply with Company rules, including but not limited to safety, attendance, and other job specifications.
•
Must submit to and pass drug screening test.
•
Must conform to all Sage Automotives and Business Policies.
•
Actively participate in all aspects of Sage Automotive Interiors Safety program as it applies at the plant(s) and office(s) including attending weekly subcommittee and monthly plant-wide meetings, attending plant safety audits, and submitting a monthly NETS card.
•
A proven record of being dependable and reliable.
•
Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
Education / Experience Prerequisites:
Mandatory:
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
