Job Description

Operate fabrication equipment such as the manual hand brake, sheers, band saw, grinder, roller, and drill press to cut, shape, and finish metal parts.

Utilize a tape measure to accurately measure and mark materials in preparation for cutting and assembly.

Assist in the assembly of metal components, ensuring that all pieces fit together correctly and meet LEL International’s stringent quality standards.

Perform welding tasks using basic MIG and TIG welding techniques, following instructions and adhering to safety guidelines.

Read and interpret elementary blueprints and drawings to determine appropriate fabrication methods and materials.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, and assembly.

Proficient in the use of manual hand tools and power tools, such as the manual hand brake, sheers, band saw, grinder, roller, and drill press.

Ability to read and interpret elementary blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, bending, and working in various conditions.

Previous experience in a fabrication or metalworking environment.

Familiarity with welding techniques, particularly MIG and TIG welding.

Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a fabrication setting.

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges as skills develop.

Welding degree or certification (e.g., AWS)
