Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Management and control of the machine process parameters in relation to the
process control sheet.
• Document all changes outside the process control sheet and communicate with the supervisor.
• Process improvement when needed.
• Proper start up and shutdown procedure.
• Submitting first off and last off to the quality department.
• Robot programming and starting.
• Ensure processes are running at the target cycle.
• Driving and involvement in action plan to increase unit productivity.
• Process audit.
• Poka Yoke validation.
• Ensure machines meet the 5S standard.
• Communicate all issues related to damage to the maintenance and tooling
department.
• Respond to all machine issues (alarms, radio, quality, etc ... ).
• Troubleshoot quality and machine issues.
• Perform tool changes as needed.
• Always looking for performance targets improvement.
• Management of production documentation as required in ISOffS.
• Follow outlined Health and Safety Regulation (lockout/tagout, training requirements, crane operations, forklift, spill management, etc ... )
• Part of a multi skilled team dedicated for the introduction in production of the new project (product and process together), be strongly involved in the improvement of the existing production.
• Completing all required documentation in a timely manner (1st off, process change log, process audit sheet, 5S sheet, etc ... )
• Be able to work overtime when needed.
• Attend Daily production meetings.
• Monitoring of the hourly production output in the command center for issues related to the process.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Minimum of 2 years as a Process Tech experience preferable in automotive industry
* Basic skills in any Time Measurement Method
* Experience in IMD and 2K processes preferred
*Knowledge in semi-automatic welding processes
* Experience in ENGEL, KM, SEPRO, Haitian, Ranger, Cincinnati Milacron
