2nd Shift Maintenance Tech
204 Old Piedmont Hwy Greenville, SC 29605 US
Monday - Friday 3: 30pm - 2am
Starting pay $22 - $25 /hr.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical duties for preventative and emergency repairs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience will include equipment installation, optimization, troubleshooting and repair.
Must have solid electrical experience -- 230v 3 phase and 480v 3 phase
Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during production
May repair or produce parts using welders, drill presses, and other shop equipment
Assemble, install or repair electrical or electronic devices, pipe systems, machinery, or equipment
Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics, blueprints, and manuals
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality
Maintains and updates equipment records, schematics, blueprints, and files.
Assure safe work practices, and company policies are adhered to at all times
Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Knowledge of industrial mechanics including gears, belts, sheaves, bearings, couplings, and drive lines
Understanding of pneumatic, and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and solenoids
Knowledge of basic welding and fabrication
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
Ability to perform tasks under varying conditions (i.e., dust, oil, grease, hot and humid conditions, noise)
Graduates of industrial, and/or electrical technology programs preferred
