Job Description

Job Summary: 

    The Accessory/Mail Out Lead will provide leadership to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the fulfillment department as it relates to all order fulfillment activities. The role will provide support for the daily operation of the fulfillment department, ensuring all operations are consistent with our commitment to customer service while fostering an environment that is both employee-centric and customer-centric. Focus on daily order processing to maximize productivity, while also providing outstanding customer service.

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of 10 -15 seasonal employees
  • Mentoring, providing training and development to optimize performance, creating organizational depth and individual growth
  • Clarifying and enforcing departmental requirements and expectations while creating an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
  • Tracking and reporting production metrics in a timely manner, while ensuring team’ s production and efficiency goals are met
  • Driving results and approaching obstacles proactively
  • Following and enforcing all company plant safety rules
  • Ensuring that all products meet or exceed JPPA’ s quality standards before shipment
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources
  • Performing all task assigned by Fulfillment Supervisor
  • Communicating performance metrics with team daily and addressing any performance related issues
  • Developing action plans to address and prevent root causes
  • Following up to determine root causes when metrics are out of line
  • Ensure all order are filled, checked, and packed daily
  • Shrink all damaged product as it occurs
  • Assign new hires to and train on scanning procedures
  • Process all trucking changes, order supplies
  • Close out manifest
  • Process shipments using World Ship, maintain paperwork, review, and approve with supervisor UPS Innovations Invoices
Required Skills/ Experience: 
  • Must be detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong mathematical skills and be able to count quickly and accurately
  • Must have good problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues
  • Experience driving lift trucks a plus, must be able to get training certification
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish desired
  • Ability to read and write numbers
  • Good verbal and written communication
