Shop/Carpenter skills for the crate base assembly area. Finish work a plus, as it would allow them to work in another area as well.

Job Description
Base Assembly
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs (Fri as needed)
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Summary:
Shop/Carpenter skills for the crate base assembly area. Finish work a plus, as it would allow them to work in another area as well.
Responsibilities:
- Use carpentry skills and various tools to produce wooden products
- Work experience rather than hobby experience preferred
- Schedule regular equipment and tool maintenance and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform quality assurance checks, inspecting for product quality
- Ensure that the workspace is clean and neat
- Other duties assigned by supervisor or lead
- Prior experience in one of the following: manufacturing, production, assembly, machine operation, or material handling
- Ability to set up simple machines
- Print reading
- Familiarity with wood working machinery and hand tools, such as saws (table saws, band saws, miters saws), sanders, planers, routers, tape, nail guns, drills, torque drivers, and skill saws
- Ability to understand verbal and written instruction
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Frequently lift 10 to 20 lbs.
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher level of education (preferred)
