Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
As a CNC Operator you will be responsible for running quality parts for medical industry.  
• Maintain proper training, tools, and materials to carry out his/her duties.
• Set up and manage CNC Machines to perform different jobs
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
• Understand quality and production within company specifications, goals, and objectives.
• Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal company practices.
• Support all 6S and lean initiatives.
• Report any issues to the Production Supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
 Good computer skills
• Great attention to detail
• Experience with CNC Machining not required but preferred
• Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings, such as blueprints is preferred
• Have an understanding of how to work with a team.
• Must possess basic computer operation skills
• Ability to complete basic math and read a tape measure
• Some experience in manufacturing
• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED equivalent

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Prior CNC Set up experience
Knowledge of machine shop environment helpful
Pay $16-18 w/o set up exp $18+ w/set up exp
