Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:
Thermaflex is looking for a positive and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team in Abbeville, SC. In this role, the Customer Service Representative will be our customers’ first point of contact responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer support experience, and will act as a liaison, providing the best possible service to the HVAC market customer base with the purpose of driving sales growth.
Essential Functions:
• Processes orders from customers and sales representatives, as well as input data into the company computer platform.
• Work with inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication to address the needs of our customers.
• Assure timely delivery of orders by working with other departments on a daily basis.
• Performs routine clerical support duties to assist the Customer Service department and Sales department.
• Help facilitate, analyze, and resolve customer issues.
• Provides information per customers’ requirements via telephone, email, and written information to existing and potential customers with management approval.
• Provide solutions, recommendations, and product information with a sense of urgency, positivity, and empathy.
• Informs manager of problems with meeting customer requirements.
• Handles customer complaints, literature requests, and directs returned goods to appropriate personnel for evaluation.
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required, and PowerPoint preferred
• Strong Organization & Time Managements Skills
• Strong Data entry skills
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Outstanding telephone skills, clear, pleasant voice
• Good diplomatic skills and tact during stressful situations
• Positive, friendly, and professional image
• Strong desire and passion to help people
