Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing

Verify that the product meets set up specifications and record measurements

Assist in the packaging of material

Properly enter/delete material identification tags per written instructions

Perform equipment preventive maintenance

Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment

Requirements:
-
High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
-
Previous warehouse experience
-
Previous forklift experience
-
Ability to read and write
-
Perform basic math skills
-
Use of computer
-
Nice To Have, But Not Required:
-
Previous metals industry experience
-
Previous crane operator experience
-
Things To Consider:
-
Standing on concrete floor for 8-10 hour shifts
-
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
-
Work environment – hot in summer & cold in winte
-
Identify, record, and segregate scrap and any non-conforming material
-
Provide feedback to supervision regarding machine efficiency and product quality
-
Perform general clean-up
-
Assist in any activities related to lean and/or quality
-
