Job Description
Hours: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shift Available
Payrate: $15 - $15.50/hr
We are always looking for dependable Forklift Operators to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
- Transport racks containing metal to different facility locations
- Optimize loads for operational efficiency
- Secure loads to forklift before transportation
- Inspect vehicles for damages and schedule maintenance/repairs
- Operate and manage technical equipment
- Identify workplace safety hazards
- Adhere to safety standards and wear PPE (earplugs, safety glasses, etc.)
Requirements:
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good physical condition
- Basic math skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Education:
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher level of education
Things to Consider:
- Indoor and outdoor environments with hot and cold temperatures
- Fast-paced environment with long hours
- Must sit or stand for long periods of time
- Heavy lifting involved
