Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and interpret work orders that are to be run for the shift regarding CNC/fabrication. Able to make edits and shift programs to meet next work order.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* HS/GED required, 3 years experience or college degree preferred
* 1 year machining experience
* Have working knowledge using calipers, micrometers and tape measure
* Have prior CNC operator experience with some editing capabilities
* Working knowledge of sheet metals along with gauge type
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches or product specs
* Light editing skills on CNC programs
* Set up and operate fabricating machines
* Trim, grind, deburrs, buffs surfaces by using hand tools or power tools
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Several years experience in mfg or machine shop
