WorkSmart Staffing has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a growing company in the Fountain Inn, SC area. This position is 1st shift and pay depends upon experience. Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of sophisticated automation systems and equipment
  2. Diagnose and test the performance of electrical components and spare parts and make recommendations for improvement                                                                                                                 
  3. Prepare specifications for the purchase of spare parts inventory                                                                                                            
  4. Responsible for mechanical maintenance of production equipment, perform issue analysis and resolve according to work orders/maintenance request                                                                                                                
  5. Perform routine equipment inspection, identify potential failure risks and take action to prevent downtime                                                                                                                  
  6. Perform reactive maintenance/fix according to equipment breakdown calls during on-duty shift; assist with arranging work orders according to production urgency and priority                                                                                                                     
  7. Be familiar with equipment mechanisms, structure and functions; master knowledge and methods of equipment routine inspection, reactive and preventive maintenance and lubrication                                                                                                               
  8. Be responsible for equipment preventive maintenance and lubrication; reduce equipment downtime and quantity of scrapped product due to equipment issue                                                                                                                    
  9. Responsible for document record, such as maintenance records for unscheduled equipment breakdown and Maintenance work daily log                                                                                                              
  10. Responsible for training relevant staff on basic equipment knowledge, procedure, and skill training                                                                                                               
  11. Responsible for other matters assigned by the supervisor                                                                                                           
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Junior college or above, major in machinery, electric or relevant majors
Required Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables

Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software

Knowledge of electricity and machinery
Can accept overtime during weekend and emergency fixing after work

Factory power distribution equipment design/installation

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and communication skills

Ability to operate lifts and forklifts
