Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
- Load and unload trucks
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
- Operating and managing technical equipment
- Securing loads to machines before transportation
- Place material in racks
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to pass a forklift test
- Some computer ability required
Nice To Have, But Not Required:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing and material handling experience
Things To Consider:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Warehouse environment - occasionally exposed to hot or cold temperatures
- Knowledge of metals (aluminum, steel), previous metal warehouse experience a plus
