Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

  • Answering Purchasing Phone Calls

  • Looking up Purchase Orders and Sales Orders in our DOS-Based, Menu-Driven system

  • Scanning and emailing Purchase Orders to Vendors

  • Following up with Vendors on Purchase Orders/Checking Against ETA’ s

  • Taking pictures from email attachments and forwarding to Sales for approval

  • Editing/Creating Container Contents lists in Excel

  • Emailing Lists of Container Shipments Received Materials

  • Coordinating Open-Top Container Arrivals with Warehouse Unloading Crew

  • Printing Shop Tickets

  • Entering Costs into System

Required Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • good time management skills

Things to Consider

  • This is a temporary assignment for 8-10 weeks with the potential to move to a different department
