Job Description

    1. Professional tasks

Responsible for:
  • Performing routine inspections in accordance with control plans and customer requirements.
  • Performing incoming inspection, including interpretation and documenting the results.
  • Monitoring of the serial production through inspections, analysis, interpretation of the results and reporting to appropriate personnel.
  • Providing back-up support for CMM Operators.
  • Follow up on shop floor to ensure machines have proper documents and gauges in accordance with established work instructions.
  • Assisting in PPAP inspections and preparing associated documents.
  • Conducting random inspections on shop floor at established frequencies.
  • Maintaining the blocking area in accordance with established standards.
  • Coordinating with Production team on sorting and identifying suspect material.
    1. Special tasks
          
            Perform all any additional tasks assigned by Quality Supervisor.
 
    1. Workplace Safety: 
 
  • All health and safety requirements must be strictly observed at all times while carrying out the tasks listed above.
    1. Authorizations/Information relations
 
  • Blocking of non-capable processes and defective products
  • Required to inform shift supervisor of status changes
  • Authorization to stop production and shipments.
    1. Environment
 
  • Awareness through efficient and careful use of resources (waste treatment, electricity, air emissions, etc.) is required.

  1. Job requirements/Job profile
    1. Qualification/professional experience
  • High School Diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in quality inspection/methods.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft office.
  • Ability to read blue prints, perform basic math calculations and interpret charts, graphs and reports.
  • Capable of using various measuring devices, including micrometer, caliper, ht. gauge, etc.
