Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for assembly and sewing of various fittings onto industrial duct and hose products.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for safe operation of all equipment.
Performs assembly to various ducting, such as metal or fabric end fittings.
Trims or prepares ends of hose for direct shipment to customers.
Performs any other required assembly duties.
Inspects hoses for defects, length, diameter and cosmetics.
Attaches some fabric end fittings by stitching with industrial sewing machine.
Attaches special end assemblies for specific customers.
Secondary Duties:
Performs rework or repair work to defected product.
Trains incoming personnel.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic reading, writing and math skills
Ability to comprehend and carry out instructions
Experience:
Skills: Manual dexterity
Ability to maintain a quality product
Special Requirements:
Substantial movement of hands, wrists and fingers
Stands for sustained periods
