Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all tasks assigned by management.
• Service and repair tools and associated equipment in line with production requirements
• Ensure that tooling is serviced and set up to the correct specification, available for
production with all necessary equipment and fittings in line with planning requirements
• Control of spare parts and materials to maintain tooling to the specified requirements
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met
• Order spare parts and materials to maintain the service to production
• Develop processes, including trialing of new molds, in conjunction with project manager
• Train personnel to carry out the duties required within the department
• Participate in meetings as required
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Thorough understanding of plastic injection molding processing equipment and materials
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with a strong work ethic and emphasis on quality
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through problem solving
methods
• Self-motivated team player with a high level of reliability
• Experience with tooling and Plastic injection molding machines
• Experience interfacing with product engineering, operations, manufacturing engineering and supplier
• Must have advanced statistical, manufacturing, and engineering knowledge
• Work will be in an office environment - may be exposed to noise when working in
production areas and at customer or supplier locations as required
• Ability to work weekends or during shutdown
