Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all essential functions of a machine operator.
• Diagnose problems based on the part being produced out of specification.
• Adjust tooling to bring the part back into spcification.
• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments
such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Make change overs within die sets and exchange die sets in the machines.
• File, grind, shim, and groom tooling.
• Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
• Rebuild feeds, rebuild die sets, service lubrication units and change parts as needed.
• Order all tooling.
• Organize all tooling.
• All other duties as assigned.

- 5 plus years of experience
- All machine operator knowledge, plus 5 years experience or a combination of 3 years of experience and techincial training and certificate/trade school etc
