Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Keep inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
Organize merchandise to be stored in racking system
Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport materials to the shipping bay
Ensure that all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
Scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
Comply with established safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Addition of warehouse custodian duties when necessary

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to operate forklift
Willingness to learn multiple areas of operation and step into those roles when necessary (ex: warehouse cleaning)
Excellent attention to detail
Organizational skills

Nice To Have, But Not Required:

Things To Consider:

Ability to lift 10 to 50 lbs. (50 lbs. + with assistance)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Other physical requirements include walking, handling, reaching outward/up/over shoulders, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and bending
Warehouse environment: exposed to loud noise, dust, hot and cold temperatures
Must operate equipment safely and wear specific PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses, etc. as deemed necessary
