SG Operator
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery
-
Review the production schedule
-
Assist in machine setups, changeovers, and cleaning of equipment when necessary
-
Load raw materials into processing machinery
-
Adjust machine settings as needed
-
Check manufactured product for defects
-
Ensures that all production reporting and data collection is completed in a timely manner
-
Train current and new members of the department to perform job related tasks as needed
-
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
-
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
Ability to understand and follow blueprints and manuals
-
Excellent mechanical skills
-
Excellent problem solver
-
Excellent communications skills
-
Follow all safety rules and position SOP’s
Nice To Have, But Not Required:
-
High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
-
Experience operating machines in a warehouse setting
Things To Consider:
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
-
Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary
-
Warehouse environment - noise, dust, occasionally exposed to hot and cold temperatures
-
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions
