Job Description
Job Summary The Machine Operator will handle and maintain warehouse machines to keep production running smoothly. You’ll load raw materials, monitor equipment, clear leftover materials, and keep the work area clean. Essential Duties
Monitor and keep warehouse machines working properly.
Load raw steel materials and set up machines for production.
Use equipment to complete tasks and clear chips from machines.
Inspect machines regularly and make simple repairs.
Unload finished parts and prepare them for storage.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Good at solving problems and fixing small issues.
Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
Strong mechanical skills and comfort with using tools.
Good time management and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
Experience working with machines in a warehouse.
Things to Consider
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Able to lift 20-50 lbs (with help for heavier loads).
May need to handle, reach, climb, crawl, kneel, and bend.
Warehouse environment may have loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Must follow safety rules and wear protective gear like ear plugs and safety glasses.
