Job Title: Mig Welder Level III - 2nd Shift
Location: Piedmont, South Carolina 29673
Hourly Rate: $22
Schedule: 2:30pm - 11pm w/OT as needed
Job Overview
Fabricate, repair, and assemble rack components and related metal parts using MIG welding. Work across build stages including prototype/custom projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Provide guidance to less experienced welders and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG welding and metal fabrication for rack builds and repairs
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to produce accurate components
- Inspect welds and finished work to confirm quality, fit, and structural requirements
- Troubleshoot issues in equipment or assemblies and make appropriate adjustments
- Support prototype/custom builds and first-article/fixture completion activities
- Mentor junior team members and follow safety and 6S/process improvement standards
What We’re Looking For
- Advanced MIG welding experience on carbon steel
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience with prototype or custom fabrication builds preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and provide lead/support to others
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
