Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Packers are responsible for taking plants from the tote and securely packing them into a box using the correct inserts and techniques.
Other Duties Assigned:
In order to be considered for employment, applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.
Our company maintains a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use or possession in the workplace. Pre-employment drug screening may be conducted, and employees may be subject to random testing.
Other Duties Assigned:
- Pulling the correct products and amounts from bulk storage areas
- Pre-packing and preparing all products for picking
- Verifying that the correct products were pulled and correct any errors
- Monitor and improve productivity and error rates
- Receiving products
- Following and enforcing all company safety rules
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources
- Performing all task assigned by Replenishment Supervisor
- Self-motivated, ambitious, energetic, hardworking with a strong work ethic
- Able to communicate effective orally and written
- Able to work in a team environment, provide honest and direct feedback
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple issues
- Organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Basic math skills
- Flexible with work schedules during peak seasons
- Ability to speak English and Spanish (a plus)
- Order fulfillment experience (a plus)
