Job Title: Seed Packaging Operator
Location: Hodges, South Carolina 29653
Hourly Rate: $14
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm
Job Overview
Responsible for accurately packing seed products into packets, maintaining productivity and quality standards, and recording daily packing and lot information. Work is performed in a production environment that may include wet, dirty, and climate-controlled areas with exposure to both cold and heat.

What You’ll Do
- Pack seed packets to meet daily production targets while following standard procedures.
- Verify packet quantities and product weights using counting and/or re-weighing at scheduled intervals.
- Maintain accurate records of packed amounts and lot details for traceability.
- Support quality and housekeeping practices to keep the work area organized and production-ready.
- Use basic computer systems (e.g., Sage) to enter or update required documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and adjust to changing priorities, including coverage for other areas if requested.
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable, attentive, and disciplined team members with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to read and write numbers with good basic math skills.
- Good communication skills for both verbal and written updates.
- Ability to follow weights and measures procedures and maintain quality control.
- Basic computer skills to handle simple data entry tasks.
- High school diploma or GED required.
